Atlanta public access cable television program iFemme.tv produced an interview with five major Xena fan fiction writers who have also published lesbian fiction in book form. They discuss their relationships with the Xenaverse, gaining their own fans, posting stories online, and how the internet gave them their starts in publishing in the book world, moving beyond Xena and uber fiction.

Included are LJ Maas, Lori L Lake, T Novan, Sue Beck and Karen Surtees. If you're a Xena fan, or a lesfic fan, or an aspiring writer yourself, this video is a great addition to your collection.

I'm watching this again on October 29th, 2005 after hearing about the death of LJ Maas today. LJ will be sorely missed, and the body of her work will live on. LJ's book "Tumbleweed Fever" was one of the first novels I purchased from the new wave of small press lesbian fiction publishers.
