Christine (Jennifer Holland) is a new
student at Greenway College, and it's sorority rush week, something she has no
interest in. Psychology professor Ms Masters (Barbara Crampton) recognizes that
Christine has special psychic powers and enlists her help to stop the sisters
of the Beta Alpha Tau (BAT) sorority as they corrupt everyone on campus and take
their souls. Christine joins BAT and soon learns just how seductive sorority
president Devin (Michelle Borth) is. Part of the initiation involves sex with
Devin and other sorority sisters. Christine watches and resists at first, but
then joins in. It's almost soft core to a beat, but not really, just a lot of
lingerie and touching that's not quite in the right places :-) So
we learn that Ms Masters is the Keeper of the Light, a vampire hunter whose family
has done this for centuries. Devin is an immortal vampire who killed not only
Ms Masters' father, but Christine's parents as well. Oooh. The sorority initiation
ceremony is the time when Devin gives immortality to her "sisters and lovers"
and increases their power over men. Conveniently it is also when Devin is at her
weakest, and Christine is able to use her powers to blow her to smithereens. But
is she really dead? The plot holes are gigantic, and it's hard to believe
this was made in 2004. I kept expecting Ms Masters to rip her tight blouse off
to give the film some redeeming erotic quality, but alas, that never happens. |
