Asia Argento writes, directs
and stars in a look at Anna, a popular Italian actress who falls into the fast
life of sex and drugs. She wants to escape all that and make a semi-autobiographical
movie about herself, what we can assume to be Argento's real story. The
film opens with her taking it from behind from a man who is evidently a fellow
actor. There are quite a few rather explicit straight sex scenes as she travels
from Rome to Paris to LA and Amsterdam. Back in Rome, a woman named Quelou
(Selen) arrives at her door, ready for sex, although Anna can't remember their
previous encounter. Never mind, the two get it on quite nicely, but only briefly.
Quelou has to catch a flight. This story is ugly ... and boring. I didn't
care about Anna or her screwed up life and attempts to turn it around. Not even
enough Quelou to make it worth ninety minutes out of the day.
