Shy (Silas Howard, Tribe 8) is a small town Kansas butch dyke whose house gets repossessed after her father's death. She dons her best suit and heads for the big city of San Francisco to start a life of crime. There she runs into Valentine (Harriet/Harry Dodge), a gender bending girl with a beard and a wacky girlfriend named Billie (Stanya Kahn).

The film follows buddies Shy and Val as they steal for money to live, look for Val's birthmother, and deal with Val's mental illness. One of the few movies to feature working class butch dykes (who are both quite handsome).
