It’s the world of hip young club hoppers in Taiwan’s capital city. Just a bit of fluff about partying, dancing, getting drunk, selling and taking drugs, and having sex with one another or cheating on lovers and friends, with a little added heartache for many of them.
One member of the group of friends is Iden (Rebecca Chiang), the DJ at a club they frequent. At one point, we see her making out with another woman in the bathroom, and later she and friend Vivi (Vivi Wang) make love. This is the only one of the couples with a happy ending, as weeks later, they become Taiwan’s first lesbian couple to get married.
Aside from that surprise, generally the characters are not the kind to get to know very closely. Very little plot, just a slice of life for these twenty somethings. (AB)
