A cheesy lesbian slasher movie! A group of ex-lovers (plus one new girlfriend) go on a camping trip for Susan’s (Moynan King) birthday. One by one, they disappear. Is it the creepy hunter, the current boyfriend of one of the women, an escaped convict, a private investigator?
It’s a real ‘killer weekend’ dealing with past breakup issues, jealousy, attraction, infidelity … your basic dyke drama in the context of the slasher movie genre. Not too much gore (and ketchup style blood). A little bit of sex. Surprises at the end. Shot in Texas.
All in all, it’s not a masterpiece and has its lame points, but I was entertained and happy to see a new type of film made by lesbians for lesbians. (AB)
