Adrien (Lori Heuring, Anger Management, Mulholland Dr.) is a young woman with psychological problems, but she is released on trial from a mental hospital to work at a posh country club populated by obnoxious rich kids. Brittany (Susan Ward, Wild Things 2), the leader of ‘the in crowd’ on the beach, takes a shine to Adrien. She is obviously setting her up for something, but what?
Unfortunately, the film is so boring that I didn’t care what was really up, but Brittany’s friend Kelly (Laurie Fortier) tries to warn Adrien. Brittany gets Kelly back, and part of the plan is that she begins seducing her. Less than a minute of kissing amounts to the total of lesbian content in this film.
It’s sort of like watching a bunch of full-of-themselves college students on spring break. The murder ‘mystery’ isn’t a mystery at all, with a wooden, monotonous plot. Definitely not worth your hour+ to see this movie. (AB)
