Romantic comedy about the relationship between Bridget Jones (Renee Zellweger, Chicago, Jerry Maguire) and Mark (Colin Firth, The King’s Speech, Where the Truth Lies), as well as with her ex David (Hugh Grant, About A Boy, Four Weddings and a Funeral).
Bridget thinks that Mark is having an affair with Rebecca (Jacinda Barrett), but when she confronts Rebecca, we find out that it’s not Mark Rebecca is in love with. It’s Bridget. Rebecca kisses her, to Bridget’s shock. Bridget runs off to Mark after assuring Rebecca that if she ever decides to bat for the other team, Rebecca will be the one. Kind of an unexpected moment that increases Bridget’s self confidence with Mark.
This is the follow up to Bridget Jones’s Diary. (AB)
